(More customer reviews)I give these blades 4 stars because even though they're great they aren't as great as my 20 year old Toro Wheel Horse mulching mower. That old dog is the best! To get my old Toro today would cost over $3000 easily. They just don't make mowers that are true mulchers anymore at a reasonable price. When I found these I was hopeful they would do the trick. They do indeed. I highly recommend them to anyone with a John Deere riding mower. They work substantially better than the 'mulching blades' they put on our JD instead of the regular blades it came with. I am now looking forward to seeing how they work on my fall leaves.

I took a chance it would fit my Ariens (and it did)by looking at the picture and searching the internet. Even Ariens did not let me know this kit was out there when I tried to add gauge wheels to my deck ater I got it.
It went on without much trouble and didn't take long to install.

(More customer reviews)This mower seems good overall - I didnt realize it had electronic start and it arrived with everything except the keys! I tracked down the manufacturer and they sent me new ones in a week or so. And the pull start works without keys so I was able to mow. It was pretty easy to assemble but it sure weighs a lot. I have never had a power drive mower before so maybe they are all heavy. It doesnt always start on the first few tries but will after 4-5 pulls usually. It cuts very well and the bagger fits on nicely.

Good Vibrations 150 King Pin Lawn Mower Quick Connect Hitch Pin Review

(More customer reviews)This is another product made by Good Vibrations Grip/METEOR.
This is a special type of hitch pin made for tractors. It is 4-inches in length and has a diameter of 3/8". The metal portion of the hitch pin is drop forged, for strength and durability. The top portion of it, is made out of plastic.
What is cool about this hitch pin is that, you don't need a cotter pin to secure it. This pin has retractable wings, or arms, that keep the pin in place. All you have to do, is squeeze the plastic trigger with your hand, and the arms will retract inward.
You can then insert the pin and let go of the trigger, the arms will retract outward. Keep in mind though, the hitch pin in total is 9" long. Because of this, I was not able to use this on my tractor, as there is a bagger support bar in the way. IMO, this hitch pin, needs to be 3" shorter, and then it will work.
Because of dirt buildup, make sure to oil the retracting arms often.

However, it's a good idea and now that I have it installed it works well. It is well constructed. However, if you are not adept at mechanical work and you do not see your exact model of mower on the companies web site I would not recommend that you make this purchase. I my case I had to add a separate metal plate to both sides, drill holes to mount it to the mower as well as holes for the kit in order to make the kit fit my Toro.

(More customer reviews)Had high hopes that this would fit and work properly. I have a Ariens rider. The mulch blades fit and seem to work fine...it's the discharge cover that I have a problem with. It's obviously a universal fit piece, because it doesn't fit the discharge hole on my deck well at all. Matter of fact, after I installed this PIECE (oh and it's made to fasten to the deck with pre-installed bungee cords ...yes bungee cords), I had to add a few strips of duct tape around the gaps because grass and debris were shooting up right at me. Not sure if there is an alternate product available, but if there is, by all means try something else besides this. I 100% do NOT recommend this item.
