(More customer reviews)I bought these blades based on the promise that they would bag and side discharge as well as mulch (thus the 3-in-1). I was hoping to reduce leaf volume when bagging in the fall. Sadly, I never got that far. The cut with side discharge was terrible, leaving a ridge down the middle of every pass. I have tried many blades and never had a cut anywhere near this bad. It may just be the combination of my deck (Craftsman 42") and these blades, but the results were worse than not cutting the lawn at all!
I'm sorry they did not work for me, but the return through Amazon was easy and trouble free.

(More customer reviews)Bought a set of these blades for my 4 year old 38" yard man at a better price, than I could purchase OMC blades at Lowes. . The blades were actually heavier than the original blades and were wider also. I wasn't sure about the mounting hole or how it worked on the star shaft, but was surprised at how tightly it fit, with only a few passes of a triangle file to clean up the opening!
Tried out the new blades on the old deck and was pleasantly surprised at how well the old lawn tractor cut. Looked as though I had used a high dollar mower!!
Great blades at a real decent price!!

(More customer reviews)This is my second summer using this mower. I not only cut our yard in Georgia which is all uphill or down hill, I cut the road swale twice in the summer. The mower lays down and cuts grass and weeds like a tractor! It is more expensive to be sure but it is definitely a commercial machine. If you wanna do some serious turf cutting get the Beast! The only change I made was to call Sarlo and have them talk me through adjusting the engine speed up to increase the forward speed some.

Lawnbott LB2150 Robotic Mower Review

(More customer reviews)Overall after 2 mowing seasons I guess I still like my Lawnbott. Right now it's not working though. Within the first 2 weeks of buying the Lawnbott I started to have problems with it. I made the mistake of buying mine from [...]; a company that as I understand it is no longer a distributor of Lawnbotts, they don't answer their phone anymore. I could never get through to them about a problem. Finally after quite a bit of resistance and ignoring me, KA hooked me up with their main troubleshooter in Atlanta and he's been fairly helpful. The business model here for KA is to have the owner repair the bot WHEN not IF it breaks down. Almost all owners will have some problems. The bot is modular construction and not all the complicated to fix once you get the knack. So far I've replaced one wheel motor, both bump sensors, and now my charger is fried and I was searching for that on Amazon and that's how I ended up posting this review. I suspect once I have the charger I'll find I need a new motherboard from the way the bot was behaving prior to the charger going out. Over the past 18 months the bot has been down 2 months. I live in Mississippi and have to mow most of the year. More or less you can expect the bot to last 2 years before you have to lay out about $800-900 for a total refurbishment where they replace all the motors, wheels, motherboard. You cannot expect more than about 1000 hours out of the blade motor, which I understand is in excess of $300 to replace. When it's working and that's most of the time it does a really nice job. It mulches the grass and my lawn looks really nice. More or less you can just forget about mowing. Don't sell your push mower though as it will not work 100% of the time and be prepared to spend on average about 20 hrs per year fixing the Lawnbott. If you go to [...], you'll find they have a forum that for some reason is still up and running. (DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM) Read all about repairs owners have had to make. You'll find the email address of KA'S troubleshooter on that forum. You will need it. KA has a repair and installation manual in pdf format that you might be able to get them to send you. It really helps. You have to sort of learn to think in Italian though because all their manuals are written by an Italian with a high school level knowledge of English as a foreign language. Overall I think fooling with the Lawnbott is better than mowing the grass myself, but it's not quite ready for prime time. I'm a pretty handy guy; I've built four boats, I fix my own gas lawnmower, I've worked on car engines and I've wired a little cabin and all sorts of 12 volt wiring. Lawnbotts are not for guys who don't have tools, never fix anything themselves, etc. You'll end up selling it on ebay at a loss if you're not pretty handy.

It lasted all of 1 1/2 plots before the gears separated and the wheel stopped spinning. When I tried to see if there was something I could adjust I was amazed at just how flimsy the rotating components were and how loosly they all fit together. The hopper, wheels and tubing which hold it together are fine; but the rest is extremely undersized. I do not recommend this unit for any application. Two thumbs down.

Replacement Lawn Mower Wheel for Cub Cadet 703-1890 & 903-1890 Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this as a replacement wheel for a Cub Cadet mowing deck and it works!!
I had no issues buying from Mowtownusa and they filled the order through Amazon quickly.
This wheel looks identical to the original and it has brass sleeves in it with a grease fitting to help make it last. Well, if you keep it greased anyway.
The only issue I have is that I could not find a replacement axle bolt anywhere but from Cub Cadet.
My bolt was worn a bit on one side but I flipped it over and put the worn section up so the wheel rides on the axle-bolts undamaged side.
I highly doubt the tractor will last long enough to outlive this repair.
I'm just keeping my 1995 Cub Cadet going to get as much out of it as I can! I'm not looking forward to more payments for a new mower so parts like these really help keep them going.
Adding a year or two or even more to get your moneys worth is much cheaper; unless it's beyond saving and the parts needed can only be found OEM.
This wheel looks to be every bit as good as the original and the price here was much better than the OEM site. They wanted fifty for the new wheel and bolt with shipping, what a rip off!!
Anyways, I doubt you will be disappointed with this replacement wheel so don't hesitate to order one if it's what you need.

Troy-Bilt TB154 9-Inch 6.5 Amp Electric Garden Cultivator/Tiller Review

Technically, it is called a cultivator, not a tiller, so I didn't know what to expect out of it power-wise. I was intent on putting in a decent-sized garden, but the only place in my yard that was getting good sun was also the spot where my lawn grew the thickest. I mowed the lawn and then went to work on it with the cultivator. With the narrow width, it naturally took me a good bit of time to till up approximately 16' x 32' plot of thick lawn, but I took my time and this machine did it in a day. I gave it a second tilling at a cross angle. I did have some grass come back in the garden, but this year I don't expect any of it to still be there.
With the success I had on the garden spot, I went ahead and dug up huge stretches of my yard and built planters. These spots equaled the size of the garden spot. Then, in about three stages, I gradually tilled up my entire back yard (where grass would no longer grow due to shade) and planted it all in clover. This year I added more garden space by tilling up another chunk of lawn approximately 8' x 32'. I have tilled it twice, but will hit it one more time to make sure I've gotten all the grass killed this year. I've also-re-tilled last years garden area which I had over-wintered in clover.
One thing that had concerned me was the instructions to remove the tines after each use and clean them. This turned out to be an extremely easy task, as they are held in place with ring pins and slide right off the axle. The tines are extremely tough on this machine. I've jammed large rocks in them and also bounced it off the edge of my concrete driveway. It just keeps chugging away with a minimum of care. Troy-Bilt makes a more expensive gas model, but I looked at them in the store and the tines appear to be exactly the same. This model is quiet and you never have to mess with oil and gas. Get a heavy-duty extension cord (or two)--the heavier the gauge the better to get full power to the machine.

They are solid and heavy. The spoke centers in the originals have been replaced by a solid center which should be a lot stronger. Don't waste your money on overpriced Sears parts. These are better and cheaper.
