(More customer reviews)the product looks sturdy, but the customer service is horrible. i called to make sure i got the correct item and i was assured that what they recommended was the correct product. when i recieved it, it was wrong. now they want me to pay yet again for shipping to get the item back to them and to exchange it, pay shipping again. this is ridiculous. i will never order from them again. after shipping back to them it's as if i payed for the item as a whole and actually kept it.

I installed this belt on my riding mower and probably got 5 uses out of it... my original belt that came on the mower lasted over 5years. So to wrap it up, it is very hard to change these belts and you can risk injury, do it as little as possible by buying an OEM original belt that lasts a long time.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product from Amazon because the price was much better than buying the belt from Craftsman. I have replaced this belt twice with Craftsman OEM products with less than satisfying results so I was interested in the quality of the Oregon brand. I found the belt to be superior in construction to Craftsman and noted several layers of reinforced stitching that Craftsman belts do not have. The belt engaged faster and the mower will now handle tall grass without belt slip. This belt is by far superior to the OEM and the price makes it worth waiting for. I should also note the product shipped the same day I ordered it, and it was on my front porch the next afternoon.

(More customer reviews)Interesting to note that no one has commented on how belts have performed after a good amount of service. Any belts will perform well initially. The reality is that these belts have about one fifth of the service life of a quality belt. Mine came apart after less than one season of mowing. That would be fine for me if they were one fifth the price of a good belt, but they are not. I routinely buy cheap stuff and usually get away with it. Not this time. Recommend you save yourself the time and money and just go buy your belts at Tractor Supply.
