They shipped the wrong product. I ordered the 4ft.W x 7 1/2ft.L and they shipped the 4 1/2ft.W x 5 1/2ft.L.
The box it was shipped in was destroyed. Pieces were hanging out of one end. The UPS driver even made a note of it in his log.
It looked used as some of the paint was already worn off.
The packing slip was for another person and another product, a desk.
It was folded over and the tines and hooks were stuck together. Took 30+ minutes and a hammer to get it undone.
The drawbar is NOT the same as the Amazon photo. Instead of long cables it is short bar. See customer photos for more info.
There is a separate 3' long rod with a hook on one end. I have no idea what this is for and there were no instructions in the box.
The drawbar is very close to the back tires limiting how tight you can make turns.
You are supposed to be able to use it 3 ways:
1. Tines up for smoothing.
2. Tines pointing backwards for medium bite.
3. Tine pointing forward for heavy bite.
Mine won't work pointing forward. As soon as I start to pull it the tines flip backwards. Not sure if I am doing something wrong as there are no instructions. However even though they are pointing backwards they do dig a bit deeper this way.
What they got right:
Actual metal looks heavy and solid and should last a long time.

Now that I have been using it for a few months I am changing the review from a 1 to a 3.
Got used to being careful making tight turns so that is not a big issue any more.
Still cannot get the tines to point forward, this really limits how much it will bite the soil.
Best to use it right after a good rain. On hard soil it will just slide and not do much.
Have used it about twice a month for 3 months and there is a noticeable difference in growth where it is and is not used.
